Serving Lakewood since 1989, Applewood Automotive has always been rooted in trust, craftsmanship, and genuine community connection. Founded and operated for 35 years by longtime owner Steve Halliday, the shop earned a devoted following through honesty, technical excellence, and the kind of neighborly service that made it a staple in Lakewood neighborhoods such as Creighton, Eiber, Daniels, Union Square, Belmar, Glennon Heights, Alameda and Applewood.
Today, Applewood Auto Care is owned by Thomas and locally managed by Josh, who leads the shop with the same commitment to integrity and customer care that defined Steve’s tenure. The shop is also supported by Sam, a District Manager of the Relay Hill Auto group.
Relay Hill Auto, a small, locally owned and locally managed group of independent repair shops in Denver metro whose purpose is to build community in the neighborhoods they serve and within their shops. Their mission is grounded in people-first values, long-term relationships, and the belief that independent shops should deliver industry leading service without losing their authentic neighborhood feel.
