Since 1989, Applewood Auto Care has served the Lakewood community with quality repairs and friendly customer service. Founded by Steve Halliday, the shop works on American, European, and Japanese vehicles. The shop is conveniently located at the corner of 6th Avenue and Garrison Street. Applewood Auto Care takes pride in being a traditional neighborhood repair shop focused on honesty and integrity.
In 2024, Steve decided to retire and pass the responsibility of servicing neighborhood vehicles to Thomas and Kyle. During the summer the shop was closed to upgrade the facilities and equipment. The shop re-opened and was welcomed by local neighbors, businesses, and prior customers. Applewood Auto Care’s mission is to build community in the neighborhoods it serves by providing excellence in its automotive repairs and services.
